It was with some trepidation that I agreed to go to Julie’s nutritional course with a vegan friend. From the moment Julie opened her door to us, she made us feel very relaxed and welcome. She proceeded to cook us a delicious vegan food, while all the time telling us the nutritional value of each food and what it was good for health-wise. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed all the dishes Julie had prepared for us. Nutrition for Vitality Workshop
Foods to Heal Your Mind, Body & Soul – Dine & Learn, Clean Eating Experience
These workshops are a wonderful way to be able to see and taste foods you could be substituting to feel healthier on a mind, body & soul level. You will get to eat them and talk about how you can incorporate them into your life easily and effortlessly.
The investment for each workshop is £55 (normally £75). This includes a full lunch with all the health promoting foods which are vegan (although it’s fine if you aren’t vegan), wheat/gluten-free, dairy-free, refined sugar-free etc. and all the recipes and notes are emailed after the workshop.

This workshop is suitable for everyone although especially if you have attended the original workshop as there will be different foods being served.

All the workshops include lunch and and e-mail containing all the information & recipes so you can just relax, chat and eat in a sociable and uplifting environment.
If you are serious about improving your health and want to heal on a mind, body & soul level then this enlightening workshop is for you.
You will get time to talk about your health requirements, learn about and eat healthy alternatives that will be practical and realistic for your lifestyle.It will be a small intimate group of 4 – 5 people maximum where you can learn, share and eat in a peaceful and uplifting environment.
Ideas for lunches/dinners/snacks etc. which you will eat as part of the lunch, including easy to make vegan sushi (with brown rice, other healthy ingredients, and there is no raw fish).
Foods will consist of:
- Whole grains (wheat & gluten-free), helping to increase energy and improve digestion.
- Vegetable proteins that are natural, vegan and free of any processing.
- Vegetables and sea vegetables that could help improve digestion, increase vitality and energy & may prevent/heal illnesses.
- Condiments and refreshments that may help heal the body, improve health to look and feel great. Tasty, enjoyable & healthy too 🙂

When I booked the workshop for myself and my husband I hoped we may get a few different recipes and may be learn how to cook better. We both got so much more out of the day. Dave has shifted his understanding of eating healthier which has made it easier for me. We both feel as if we have more energy and are fitting in our clothes easier. I may be able to run workshops with different food themes to suit you and your requirements. They are usually held in Prestwich, although I maybe able to arrange one at your house or another venue.

First a BIG thank you for your workshop on Saturday – I really enjoyed it and will certainly take away some of your delicious recipes. Learning about the different nutritional benefits from certain food types was also really interesting and I have spent the weekend reading and researching – I think you have awoken a “beast” in me and a thirst information. I can not recommend this workshop enough, I came with my 14 year old daughter as I wanted to make sure we were both having a balanced diet ( recent vegans) Julie’s approach is relaxed, practical and absolutely delicious. There wasn’t anything I couldn’t make as a full time working and very busy mum. Ingredients were easy to buy and Julie demonstrated lots of delicious foods I could create at home, all I needed was some knowledge and a little forward thinking. The work shop was fun, relaxed and included an enormous beautiful lunch with great company. Anyway a week on I have incorporated so many tips and already both me and my daughter feel happier, healthier with loads more energy, we really have found our sparkle. Thank you Julie. Q: Do I need to cook at the dine & learn workshops?
A: No, I do all the preparing/cooking so you can just relax and enjoy watching and eating the foods which will be an empowering and inspiring experience 🙂
Q: Will I need to make notes during the workshop?
A: Not unless you want to, however, if you just want to switch off and watch/listen/eat then I do e-mail you after the workshop with information, recipes and places to source ingredients etc.
Q: Do I have to be vegan or vegetarian to attend the workshop?
A: Not at all. Everything served at the workshop will be suitable for vegans and vegetarians as I don’t serve any animal foods. I don’t advocate you should be vegan or vegetarian as it is up to you how much or how little you would want to incorporate these foods afterwards. I will give you recommendations for animal based foods if this is what you require.
Q: What if I don’t like or have an allergy/intolerance to certain foods?
A: I will ask you when booking the workshop this information and will accommodate your requirements. I don’t make or serve any animal products or wheat, dairy, sugar, artificial ingredients, nightshade family vegetables (tomato, aubergine, potato, peppers) etc.
